The Best Baked Brie Recipe
Whether you are hosting a book club, baby shower, brunch or bachelorette party, this baked brie with jam appetizer will disappear in no time flat! Honestly, I’d probably have a second one prepped and ready to pop in the oven.
I mean c’mon.
Is there anything better than ooey gooey Brie and a sweet fruit spread schmeared on a baguette? Just look at that creamy puddle of cheese …
Ingredients
There are only 3 ingredients for this Strawberry Jelly Baked Brie.
- refrigerated crescent dough
- brie
- strawberry jam
How to Make Baked Brie with Jam and Crescent Rolls
Once you’ve placed your brie on the crescent roll dough, spread a generous amount of fruit spread over a wheel of Brie, just wrap it up in that buttery sheet of crescent roll dough. I tried to get all fancy and twist the dough into this pretty little rosette 🙂
Pop this pretty little package in the oven and let it bake until the dough is cooked through and it is a gorgeous golden brown.
You will have to practice patience because you need to let this baked Brie rest for about 5-10 minutes. Otherwise, the cheese will spill out ALL over and make a huge mess!
Serving suggestions
Wondering what to serve with brie? There are so many great options! I love a nice crusty bread but you can also serve it with crackers, pita chips, and don’t forget the fresh fruit.
Trust me on the strawberries … you won’t be able to stop at just one. The fresh tart berry + the sweet fruit spread + melty nutty cheese = a little bite of heaven!
Tips for best results
- Don’t waste your money on fancy brie from a cheese shop, the grocery store variety works just fine for this easy baked brie recipe
- You can completely make this jam baked brie with a wedge of brie instead of the full round but I recommend going bigger!
- You can substitute camembert cheese for the brie in this recipe (see all of our ideas for what to serve with camembert!)
- Customize this recipe by changing the flavor of your jam, adding nuts or chopped fruit, or even honey!
- The brie rind is edible, no need to remove it!

GORGEOUS!! Love this creative take on baked brie.
My puff pastry was severely undercooked. It did not taste good.
how long did you cook it for? The recipe says until golden brown, was it golden outside and undercooked inside, I have never had this happen so am trying to troubleshoot!
very tasty!
