With just 2 ingredients and tons of fruit flavor, these creamy frozen Strawberry Coladas are ready in minutes and taste like the tropics!
I’m not sure what Mother Nature is doing where you are, but in Florida, we hit the 90s yesterday. In April. Apparently, we are skipping Spring and heading straight into Summer. So we dusted off our pool floats, slathered on some sunscreen and buzzed up a batch of these 2 ingredient, non-alcoholic frozen drinks faster than you can say UV rays! Sometimes our weather makes me wonder why we stay in Florida, but then I remember that we can wear sandals in winter. 😉
Anyway, Strawberry Coladas …
Creamy Frozen Strawberry Coladas
Is there anything more refreshing then a smooth, creamy frosty frozen drink? This pretty pink drink comes together in your blender with just two simple ingredients: frozen strawberries and cream of coconut. Really. That’s it.
Since you can keep your freezer stocked with berries and a few cans of cream of coconut tucked in your pantry, a batch of Strawberry Coladas is never farther than a few minutes away!
And that is really handy when you need a vacation. Because these take like vacation. Like fruit by the pool and sun on your face and not a care in the world! Trust me on this one. We just got back from a quick mini vacation to Crystal River, Florida. So, rough day at the office? Need a little break from the littles? Grab your blender (I actually use our Nutri Ninja Pro – affiliate link) and whiz up a getaway! No mini umbrella needed.
Creamy Frozen Strawberry Coladas – Only 2 Ingredients!
-
Yield: 2 Strawberry Coladas 1x
Ingredients
- 8 oz. cream of coconut
- 8 oz. frozen strawberries
- Optional if necessary: splash of milk (juice or lemon lime soda)
Instructions
- In the pitcher of a blender, blend the frozen strawberries and cream of coconut until smooth.
- Depending on how frozen the berries are, you may need to loosen the colada up, so add a dash of milk, juice or lemon lime soda and continue blending.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
Notes
Try using frozen peaches, mango, pineapple or mixed berries for a twist on this fruity frozen drink!
What I love about simple drinks like these Strawberry Coladas is that you can switch up the frozen fruit to fit whatever you have in your freezer! Frozen pineapple, mango, mixed berries, peaches or even bananas would make an absolutely delicious drink!
