It’s probably obviously that I’m a huge Halloween fan, from our monster no bake cookies, pumpkin patch pizza, to our zombie nachos, I love creating fun themed party food and crafts. Today’s vampire floats are no exception!

Why I love this recipe

This is a super simple ice cream float but it is the best for a Halloween party, who doesn’t want to walk around looking like they are sipping on some blood with their vampire teeth?

And while it is great that it looks so creepy, these vampire floats taste great too. The fruity punch and creamy ice cream blend perfectly and the added fizz from the lemon lime soda finishes it off.

Ingredients

You only need 3 simple ingredients for this cute Halloween party recipe:

  • Hawaiian punch
  • Sprite or other lemon-lime soda
  • vanilla ice cream

Step by step

Simply add the Hawaiian punch to the glass, top with Sprite and a scoop of ice cream and enjoy!

Serving suggestions

We served these up in clear mason jars so you can see that “bloody” red soda and punch combo and added a black and white striped straw and some glow-in-the-dark vampire teeth for the kids.

If you want to get really fancy, you can also drizzle some strawberry syrup to the top of the ice cream or even add a maraschino cherry on top. Serve it up with our vampire poke cake to keep the theme rolling!

To make this an adult beverage simply add a shot (or two) of your favorite clear liquor.

Storage

Because of the ice cream and fizzy soda, these vampire floats are best made when ready to serve.
