      1. The taste is delicious but is waaaayyy to salty. I will try next time by not adding any salt.

        1. I totally feel that using a low sodium beef broth would remedy this. I didn’t add any salt and mine was very good, but will opt for low sodium broth, next time. I will definitely make this, again

  1. Great flavors, but way too salty for even my salt loving spouse’s taste. We plan to remake with a couple changes: omitting the extra salt, and making homemade onion soup mix without salt. The broth and other ingredients should add an adequate amount of sodium. We added some peas for some veggies too.

  2. it look soo tasty, i just loveeeeeeeeee pasta and i really want to try this one. Thanks for the amazing recipe.

  3. Delicious. I simplified it by using italian sausage (no seasonings) and the rest of ingredients. Kids love it. Thank you

  4. This was delicious! I didn’t have the onion soup mix so I substituted with McCormick meat loaf mix and did not add any salt during cooking. My family really liked it so I can’t wait to try it again!

  5. Tried this recipe today.. Super easy to make but way too salty! Wish I had read some of the reviews before, seems like others agree. Maybe use low sodium beef broth or don’t add the salt it calls for. Otherwise taste is good. Thanks for the recipe!

  6. This is AMAZING!!! Even my picky teens asked for this to be added to the weekly menu!!! Thank you so much!!! ❤️❤️❤️

  7. This was a very quick and easy recipe. I didn’t have beef stock so I just made the onion soup and poured it in. I also added a small can of cream of mushroom soup. I didn’t use any spices and it was still flavorful.

  8. Really nice flavor. I followed the recipe exactly. I had turkey sausage, but I didn’t think it would matter in the end. The end result was SO salty! So salty….
I may try again and use ground beef and low salt broth.

  9. This was soooo good and quick. It was a little salty, so I added a can of cream of mushroom soup to it and it was creamier and less salty. Thank you for this super quick dinner idea!

  10. Delicious and easy! Except just like the comments wayyyyyy to salty! And I only used a half pack of onion soup mix and didn’t add the extra salt. Still too salty.

Next time I’d prob use 2 cups beef broth and 2 cups water and keep just the half pack of onion soup mix.

  11. I made this and we liked it. I’m not a huge fan of the onion flavor being so strong so will use less than a pot next time I make it. Definitely omit the salt & use low sodium beef broth. It’s good and I will def make again, just adjusted to our taste. Thanks for the recipe!

  12. Me and my husband absolutely loved this recipe. I’m making it again tonight and am adding it to our regular menu rotation because it is incredibly delicious. I always thought I was really sensitive to salt until I read some of these reviews? I didn’t think it was too salty at all. But, to each their own I guess? It is perfect to us!

  13. My family really liked this meal, that’s always win in my book! Based on previous comments, used 2 cups broth and 2 cups water, reduced additional spices by half, entire packet of onion mix. Very flavorful and not too salty! Will add this to the rotation immediately. Thanks so much for the recipe!

  14. Really good, but really salty. I read the comments, typically I like really salty food. This was too salty and I didn’t add the extra salt. Next time i would add more water and make sure the beef broth is low sodium

  15. Definitely a hit but agree with comments about way too salty. With soup mix and sausage, I don’t think it need the additional salt at all (full disclosure I did not use low sodium broth). But salt level was actually alarming to my taste buds! I’m making some additional noodles to mix into the leftovers to try to tone it down. But will definitely make again without the salt!
