Warm and comforting, Creamy Eggnog Hot Chocolate blends two holiday favorites into one decadent, rich holiday drink!

So your love of this recipe hinges on two things:

    • Must love hot chocolate
    • Must love eggnog

Which, based on the title of this recipe, should come as no surprise 😉

This is really just two of my most favorite holiday drinks mashed up into one mug and it couldn't be easier to make. I've used full fat and low fat eggnog, dark chocolate and milk chocolate hot chocolate, low fat and whole milk and marshmallows instead of whipped topping. You can't really go wrong so let's hit the kitchen!

Part of the joy of Christmas is splurging a little, right? That extra Christmas cookies, that extra stocking stuffer, staying up extra late to watch that classic movie. So go ahead and splurge on a little eggnog in your hot chocolate!

Creamy Eggnog Hot Chocolate - you'll never go back to plain hot chocolate again!

And definitely splurge on some whipped topping and a little extra grated nutmeg!

Creamy Eggnog Hot Chocolate blends two holiday favorites into one indulgent drink - don't forget the whipped cream and extra nutmeg!

Here are a few things that might come in handy to make this creamy dreamy Eggnog Hot Chocolate**:

    • Clear glass mugs - all the better to see you with my dear
    • Holiday swizzle sticks
    • Microplane - perfect for zesting citrus and grating fresh nutmeg, chocolate, fresh ginger and hard cheeses, too

I was reading a romance novel where the main characters were planning a Christmas party with a hot chocolate bar. One of the feature drinks was the eggnog hot chocolate. It sounded awesome and I'm glad I found it to try.

      Thanks

      Yum!!
I used almond milk egg nog with a bit of heavy cream, a scoop of hot chocolate and a tad of tumeric (trying to add more tumeric in everything to help arthritis). And a little cinnamon.
Microwave for 1 min then stir. Microwave another 30 -60 sec then blend with mini wisk. Ohhhh. YEAH!!
