The Cinnamon Honey Butter at Texas Roadhouse is one of my favorite parts of eating there. My boys love it too! While it’s fun to go out to a steak dinner and enjoy it, it’s also super easy to make at home.
Ingredients & directions
With just 5 ingredients and 5 minutes, this recipe is beyond easy! You’ll need a few things you probably already have on hand:
- butter (softened)
- honey
- ground cinnamon
- powdered sugar
- vanilla extract
It’s as easy as gathering the ingredients, measuring and mixing them up. Five minutes tops!
Tips for best results
- Use a stand mixer or electric hand mixer. You can not mix this together by hand.
- It is important that you use room temperature butter, it will help the ingredients to whip up together easily. I let mine sit out at least an hour until it is room temperature.
Storage
- This butter should be served at room temperature so store up to 3 days in an airtight container.
- If you plan on keeping the butter longer than three days, store in the refrigerator up to 3 weeks but let it come to room temperature before serving.
- DO NOT microwave butter to bring it to room temperature. It will melt and ruin it.
Serving suggestions
At the restaurant they serve it with rolls but you can use this cinnamon honey butter on so many things:
- pancakes
- waffles
- cornbread (or cornbread waffles!)
- banana bread (like my picture above!)
- toast
- bagels
- muffins
- sweet potatoes
- french toast

hard to tell how much you mean for powdered sugar here ~is that your way of saying a half cup
yes, it is a half cup
Yes! I have no idea why that was showing a period instead of a line, I think it is fixed now
Tastes exactly like the restaurant version! It didn’t last long with my girls lol
