Different Ways to Cook With Wonton Wrappers
When we think about wonton wrappers, we automatically think of deep-fried foods. But the cool thing about wonton wrapper recipes is that they can really be cooked however you want. You don’t have to deep fry them to get crispy wontons. You can bake them or use an air fryer too, which requires very little or no oil at all.
Air frying is the easy way, in my opinion, but tossing them on a baking sheet and throwing them in the oven until they are golden brown is a close second. If you make something like dumplings that can be flipped to cook on both sides, you can even use a frying pan with just a little bit of oil or cooking spray.

Can you swap one for the other? This is a common question when it comes to these two wrappers. The answer is, yes, but it may not always be the best option.
These two thin sheets of dough are basically the same, but wonton wrappers are made much smaller for different uses like wontons and dumplings. Egg roll wrappers are made larger because they typically have a lot more filling.
