Needless to say, this holiday season we could all use a little peace, joy and kindness. While I would love to bottle up those feelings and emotions to give a bit to everyone I meet, with this small sweet gift idea, I can still share the sentiment with the friends, neighbors and teachers in our community.
Spread Joy Holiday Gift
This sweet gift idea is easy and affordable. And each little bag is stocked with delicious ways to spread joy: Nutella, almond butter, peanut butter and a yummy jam. I’ve added a wooden knife and a pretty Spread Joy gift tag.
You can easily put a Spread Joy holiday gift together for less than $5! Which means that you can spread a lot of joy with just a little cash 😉 And you know how much I love a good themed gift!

Once you have gathered all of the delicious spreads, pop them in a cellophane bag.
Use a hole punch oe Crop-o-Dile to punch a hole in the gift tag and the handle of the wooden knife.
Attach the knife and tag with pretty twine or ribbon and your Spread Joy holiday gift is done!
You could also gift a jar of homemade jam, local honey, homemade berry or spiced butter or any other delicious spreadable thing 🙂 We have a local artisanal bakery that makes homemade English muffins that would be a delicious addition to this gift. Or, just add a loaf of freshly baked sourdough bread, pillowy rolls or a soft baguette to encourage everyone to spread joy!
so this is just something little, but i leave coupons in the aisles if i don’t end up buying a product, and i leave them in the staff kitchen at work in case someone can use them. today i gave my coworker a bunch to bath and body works and to yankee candle. also, since i work in the social work realm at a non profit, i pretty much feel like i’m always striving to help someone.
thanks!

I spread the joy by going grocery shopping for my elderly neighbors. For work, I take care of the mentally disabled which I absolutely love. I am always making treats for them especially around the holidays.
I’m gifting my two boy’s teachers with baked goods this Christmas.
so glad I don’t need to make teacher gifts, but a great idea for co-workers.
What a wonderful gift to give Keri, how very considerate of you. Don’t know that we could afford to give too many of those but will try to do as many as possible. On top of that we don’t get paid until day after Christmas, dad gum it.
Plan on making different ornaments for gifts, you have given me great idea tho, so glad you shared this, it’s perfect. Wish we were rich so we could do so much more, love giving gifts.
Sure hope you and yours have fantastic Thanksgiving.
