I absolutely NEVER run out of this salad dressing in my fridge. I promise, once you try it you’ll feel the same way. This light and zesty dressing is everything!

Ingredients

It’s hard to explain how just a few simple ingredients you probably already have on hand can combine for such an amazing flavor.

  • olive oil
  • red wine vinegar
  • oregano
  • salt and pepper

To make the dressing simply whisk the ingredients together. You can also add them all to a mason jar and close it tightly, then shake it up to mix.

Serving suggestions

Need ideas for what to serve with a Greek salad? Here are some of our favorite pairings: a simple steak, bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin, pork chops, or baked chicken.

You might also like to try homemade Caesar salad, easy creamy poppyseed dressing, or this dijon vinaigrette.

Storage

Store this dressing in the refrigerator in an airtight container. The olive oil will cause the dressing to solidify a bit so take it out ahead of time and give it a good shake to emulsify the oil and vinegar layers together again.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

Whisk all ingredients together; or alternatively add all ingredients to a jar, seal the lid and shake to mix.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Allow to warm slightly and shake to mix before using.
