Recipe notes
- If your pork chops are frozen together or to the packaging, soak in warm water for 5 minutes to loosen them.
- Baking time will depend on the thickness, always check with a meat thermometer. Half inch thick chops will bake 25-30 minutes while one inch thick chops will bake for 35-40 minutes.

While its best to use a meat thermometer you can also tell by the texture and appearance. Pork chops should be firm and slightly springy and have clear juices. The meat should be white to very pale pink.
Overcooked pork chops easily dry out. Check the temperature of the meat often as the cooking time approaches and remove them from the oven as soon as they reach 145°F.
Let the pork chop rest at least 5 minutes before cutting to allow the juices to redistribute and settle as well.
