How to Bake Frozen Pork Chops

Description

We’ve all been there, wondering how to cook frozen pork chops when we forget to thaw them the night before! It’s okay! Learn how to bake frozen pork chops with delicious results in less than an hour.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil and place an oven-safe wire rack on top.
  3. Mix olive oil and seasonings in a small bowl.
  4. Generously rub the seasoning mixture on all sides of the pork chops and place on the wire rack.
  5. Bake 1/2″ chops for 25-30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145°F. Bake 1″ chops for 35-40 minutes. Always check the internal temperature in the thickest portion with a meat thermometer to make sure you reach 145°F.
  6. Allow to rest 5 minutes before serving or cutting.
