FAQs

Can I use bone in chicken, drumsticks, or chicken thighs?

You can certainly use other cuts of chicken but cooking time will need to be adjusted. Make sure you cook the meat until it is 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

How do you store/reheat leftovers?

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days. Reheat leftovers in the microwave, adding extra bbq sauce over the top beforehand for best results.

  1. This is not a recipe for Barbecue Chicken! This is a recipe for baked chicken with barbecue sauce. Barbecue is a method of cooking involving grilling and smoking food over charcoal or wood (and no, cooking food on a gas or electric grill isn’t barbecuing, it’s just grilling). Putting barbecue sauce on baked, broiled or boiled meat does not make it barbecue!
