Description

Baked Barbecue Chicken Breasts are an easy recipe the entire family will love. Juicy chicken breasts are smothered in savory BBQ sauce and baked to tender perfection in this fast weeknight recipe ready in just 30 minutes!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1.5 tablespoons paprika (or smoked paprika)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce + additional for serving if desired

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375. Spray 9 by 13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray.

  2. Add chicken, olive oil, and spices to a large plastic bag. Close and shake to thoroughly coat the chicken.

  3. Place chicken in  the pan and brush with half of the barbecue sauce. Bake 15 minutes, flip, brush remaining side with barbecue sauce and cook an additional 15 minutes or until cooked through to 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

  4. Allow chicken to rest 5 minutes before slicing and serving with additional barbecue sauce as desired.
