Don’t you just love super-easy recipes? You know I do, that’s what this blog is all about!
Today’s White Chocolate Fudge is one of the easiest treats out there. It needs just 3 ingredients and takes less than 10 minutes to pull together. Plus there’s no double boiler or candy thermometer needed, we make this easy fudge in the microwave!
Why I love this recipe
- It makes a great inexpensive homemade gift for Christmas
Ingredients
- white chocolate chips
- butter
- sweetened condensed milk
Step by step
- Spray a baking dish with nonstick spray and set aside.
- Combine all ingredients in a large microwave-safe bowl.
- Melt in the microwave 5 to 6 minutes, stirring every minute, until just melted and the mixture blends together smoothly.
- Pour into the prepared baking pan. Add sprinkles right away before the fudge begins to harden if desired.
- Chill in the fridge until cooled and hardened. Cut with a sharp knife to serve.
Tips for Best Results
- I recommend using a high-quality white chocolate for this recipe. My favorite is Ghirardelli which can be found in the baking aisle of the grocery store along with all the other chocolate chips.
- Do not forget to spray the dish with nonstick spray to make removing the fudge much, much easier. You can also line the pan with parchment paper if you prefer.
- If adding sprinkles, have them ready and at hand while microwaving, the fudge begins to set immediately and they need to be added directly after pouring into the dish. A sprinkle of sea salt is another tasty alternative for the top of the fudge.
Variations
You can customize this homemade fudge recipe with a variety of add-ins. Some of my favorites are:
- chopped nuts: walnuts, pecans, almonds, peanuts, pistachios
- dried fruit: raisins, dried cherries, or cranberries
- chopped candies: peppermint, mini m&Ms, chocolate chips
- use peanut butter morsels to make peanut butter fudge or replace the white chocolate with milk chocolate or dark chocolate to change up the flavor
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 weeks. Fudge will not go bad at room temperature in a sealed container but may soften depending on room temperature.
This recipe freezes very well. Store wrapped in plastic wrap in an airtight freezer container up to 3 months. Wrap fudge pieces individually for an easy grab-and-go sweet tooth fix!

I made this last year (and will again this year). I added crushed candy canes instead of nuts! They were a huge hit and super easy to make!
