It’s so colorful and I love the additional of fluffy white marshmallow ‘clouds’!  Because marshmallows.  YUM!  The mix of sweet and salty is pretty perfect, too.  Every now and then, a Goldfish pops up with that little hit of salt.  And a Goldfish with a marshmallow?  Money.  Trust me!

Wouldn’t this be fun to pop in the kiddos’ lunch box for the week of St. Patrick’s Day?  Man, why do I think of these things after my boys are past that fun age of surprise lunch box treats?!  Oh well.  There is no shame in my game … I may or may not be taking a bag of this to work today 😉

  1. At first glance I thought that you had used the crunch berries out of Captain Crunch, I would totally steal all of those for myself! I can’t wait to try this, my daughter is going to LOVE it!

  2. I just wish I could come up with half of these clever ideas that you think of!

  3. This is adorable! I bet even my teenager would like it 😉 Thanks for linking up at Best of the Weekend!

    1. Hi Charmaine – the recipe just uses equal parts of all of the ingredients. So if you use a cup of each (Trix, Froot Loops, Goldfish & marshmallows), you would end up with 4 cups of the rainbow snack mix. You can double or triple the recipe if needed. Enjoy!!
