You say it's your birthday! Celebrate beginning at the breakfast table with sweet, delicious cake batter cream cheese! So fun for bagels or even waffles!
That's right. I added confetti cake mix to cream cheese, slathered it on a soft fresh bagel and had the best birthday breakfast EVER! Why has it taken me 36 years to make cake batter cream cheese?!
I know, this may seem a little over the top. Who eats cake batter for breakfast?
I think the better question here is: Who DOESN'T eat cake batter for breakfast? 🙂

Eat cake batter cream cheese for breakfast!!
Just whip some softened cream cheese with some cake mix and a little milk. Chill and spread all over everything your bagels. Mini bagels were super fun. But a big ol' toasted chocolate chip bagel slathered with cake batter cream cheese would be out of this world! Next time for sure!
If you are very daring - I mean, this ranks right up there with bungee jumping and white after Labor Day - top your cake batter cream cheese laden bagel with sprinkles! I think my feelings on sprinkles are fairly well know around these parts. And if you have already stepped off the ledge with a shake of sprinkles, then don't stop now! Birthday breakfasts should be special and over the top, so add a candle and make a wish!
That bagel right there might have been just the start of one of my favorite birthday traditions ever!!
