Description

These easy Pizza Pinwheels combine everything you love about pizza into bite-sized, spiral-shaped snacks. Made with golden, flaky dough and loaded with melty cheese and savory toppings, they are the perfect snack or party appetizer!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (13.2 oz) sheet of puff pastry dough
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 20 – 25 slices of pepperoni
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • fresh Italian parsley, for garnish if desired

Instructions

  1. Lay the puff pastry flat on a clean surface or cutting board and brush it with olive oil. Sprinkle garlic powder and onion powder evenly over the dough.
  2. Spread a layer of marinara sauce evenly over the dough. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella on top, then layer the pepperoni slices over the cheese.
  3. Carefully roll the pastry and place it in the freezer for 20 minutes to firm up.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Remove the rolled pastry from the freezer and slice it into eight equal pinwheels.
  6. Arrange the pinwheels on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped Italian parsley, if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
