Description
Celebrate Halloween with air fryer mummy hot dogs! Wrapped in crescent rolls and air-fried to a crispy, golden finish, these treats are perfect for parties or a fun snack.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8-ounce can crescent roll dough
- 10 hot dogs
- 20 edible candy eyeballs
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer or oven to 350°Fahrenheit.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Using a knife or pizza cutter, slice each triangle into thin strips (about 1/4 inch wide).
- Wrap each hot dog with a strip of crescent roll dough, leaving a small gap for the face. Continue wrapping until the hot dog is covered.
- Repeat with the remaining hot dogs and dough strips.
- Place the wrapped hot dogs in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t touch.
- Air fry for 5-7 minutes, or bake for 13-17 minutes, until golden brown.
- Remove the mummy dogs from the air fryer and let them cool slightly.
- Place the edible eyeballs in the gap you left for the face. If needed, use a tiny bit of mustard or ketchup to help the eyeballs stick.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces like ketchup or mustard.
