Cinnamon Roll Monkey Bread Muffins

Description

These Cinnamon Roll Monkey Bread Muffins are like tiny bites of heaven – each one filled with layers of cinnamon-sugar goodness and drizzle with icing for that extra sweet kick. They are perfect for a quick and fun breakfast or a delightful treat!!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 packages refrigerated Grands cinnamon rolls
  • ¾ cup white granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add the white sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Use a fork to blend together until combined.
  3. Cut each of the refrigerated Grands biscuits into 4 pieces. Coat each in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  4. Fill each jumbo muffin pan halfway full with the coated cinnamon rolls.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter and brown sugar until combined.
  6. Pour this mixture over each half-filled muffin well, coating all the pieces.
  7. Fill the jumbo muffin pan the other half of the way full with biscuit pieces.
  8. Cover again with another generous coating of the butter mixture.
  9. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, coating with another layer of the butter mixture, 5 minutes before it is done.
  10. Melt the frosting in the cinnamon roll container slightly in the microwave.
  11. Drizzle frosting on top of each monkey bread muffin.
