Description

These gooey, crispy no-bake Halloween rice krispie treats are loaded with crispy cereal, marshmallows, and candies. It’s perfect for parties or a spooky treat at home!

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 14 ounces mini marshmallows, divided
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • 7 cups rice krispies cereal
  • 1 cup Halloween M&M’s
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 3/4 cup mini pretzel twists
  • ¼ cup sprinkles
  • Optional topping: ¼ cup green candy melts for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease the bottom of a 9×13 baking pan with cooking spray and line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large pot over low heat, melt the butter then add the ½ cup of marshmallow. Stir until melted and smooth.
  3. Once everything is set, remove the pot from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Fold in the Rice Krispies cereal, remaining mini marshmallows, mini pretzel twists, M&M’s, candy corn, and sprinkles until well combined.
  5. Gently spread the mixture into an even layer in the baking pan using a rubber spatula.
  6. Melt the candy wafers in a piping bag on a low or defrost setting until fully melted, massaging the bag every 30 seconds.
  7. Once melted, cool for 5 minutes, then snip a small piece off the tip and drizzle over the treats.
  8. Top with additional M&M’s, pretzels, candy corn, and sprinkles if desired.
  9. Allow the treats to cool on the counter for 30 minutes to an hour before cutting into squares. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • The addition of pretzels provides a nice contrast to the sweetness of the candies, but if you prefer, you can replace them with an equal amount of Rice Krispies and add an extra ⅛ teaspoon of salt for flavor.
