- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar, plus additional for dusting
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together softened butter and cream cheese until creamy using electric mixer. Gradually mix in powdered sugar, then add the egg and vanilla extract, beating until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, sift together all purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the all purpose flour mixture to the cream cheese mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Using your hands, shape the dough into 24 evenly sized balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the cookies for 9-10 minutes, or until they are set and lightly golden brown on the bottom.
- Once baked, remove the cookies from the oven and transfer them to a wire cooling rack, then dust with powdered sugar. Serve and enjoy!
