Description

Cherry Pineapple Dump Cake is a tasty, delicious dessert with just 6 ingredients, and takes only 5 minutes to assemble. The rich fruity filling is topped with a buttery crispy cake crust you’re going to go wild over!


Ingredients

  • One box yellow cake mix
  • One 15 oz. can of cherry pie filling
  • One 20z. can of crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • One stick unsalted butter, melted)
  • Dash of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350*.
  2. Prepare a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. In a mixing bowl, stir together the cherry pie filling and crushed pineapple, including the juice.
  4. Spread cherry pineapple mixture in the bottom of the baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the cherry pineapple mixture.
  6. Sprinkle pecans over the cake mix.
  7. Melt butter and stir in cinnamon and vanilla.
  8. Drizzle butter over the cake mix – try to cover as much of the dry cake mix as possible.
  9. Bake about 45 minutes until top is golden brown and the filling is hot and bubbly.
