Ingredients

Scale
  • 15 ounce can peas
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • about 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder


Instructions

On the stovetop

  1. Drain peas and add to small saucepan.
  2. Cover the peas in beef broth (about 2 cups depending on the size of your pan.)
  3. Add butter and seasonings.
  4. Bring to a boil over medium high heat.
  5. Once boiling, remove from heat and serve

Microwave

  1. Drain peas and add to microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Add two pats of butter to the top of the peas and microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds or until peas are hot and butter is melted.
  3. Stir, then season to taste with salt and pepper.
