How to Cook Canned Corn

Description

It is so easy to learn how to cook canned corn so it tastes better! With just a few simple tips and tricks you can cook canned corn on the stovetop or in the microwave easily with delicious results!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 15 ounce can of corn
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

In the microwave

  1. Drain corn and add to microwave safe bowl.
  2. Add butter over the top and microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds or until heated through and butter is melted.
  3. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

On the stovetop

  1. Add corn (liquid too) to a small saucepan.
  2. Add butter, milk, and salt to the corn and stir.
  3. Heat to a boil over medium high heat.
  4. Remove from heat and season to taste with additional salt and pepper if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
