It is so easy to learn how to cook canned corn so it tastes better! With just a few simple tips and tricks you can cook canned corn on the stovetop or in the microwave easily with delicious results!
Ingredients
Scale
- 15 ounce can of corn
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
In the microwave
- Drain corn and add to microwave safe bowl.
- Add butter over the top and microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds or until heated through and butter is melted.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
On the stovetop
- Add corn (liquid too) to a small saucepan.
- Add butter, milk, and salt to the corn and stir.
- Heat to a boil over medium high heat.
- Remove from heat and season to taste with additional salt and pepper if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
