Citrus Champagne Mocktail {Make Believe Champagne}


Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water

Other Ingredients

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 liter chilled ginger ale


Simply Syrup

  1. In a small saucepan, bring the sugar and water to a boil and boil for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Allow to cool.

Make Citrus Champagne Mocktails

  1. In a pitcher or punch bowl, combine simple syrup and fruit juices. Just prior to serving, stir in ginger ale.

Recipe Notes

Strain the fruit juices if you do not want pulp in your champagne mocktail. You can use purchased juices if you don't have the time for fresh squeezed. Finally, this is a mocktail but feel free to booze it up and replace the ginger ale with champagne or your favorite libation!
