    Winter Fresh Air Fresheners

Make DIY Winter Fresh air fresheners - refreshing rosemary and spearmint blend for the perfect winter pick me up scent!

Can you believe we are closing in on Christmas in less than two weeks?  10 days to be exact - EEK!  I finally did a little shopping this weekend, so I have something to wrap up and put under the tree.  I also had a little time this afternoon and I was able to make some pretty little gifts for a few friends at work.  That smell amazing and look darn cute, if I do say so!

    Winter Fresh Air Fresheners

Make DIY Winter Fresh air fresheners - refreshing rosemary and spearmint blend for the perfect winter pick me up scent!

These Winter Fresh air fresheners are the cool weather version of my Cinnamon Orange air fresheners.  While the cinnamon and orange air fresheners were warm and cozy, I was ready for something refreshing and brisk ... so I blended two of my favorite Young Living essential oils to come up with a delicious scent that is perfect for frosty mornings and chilly nights:

Earthy Rosemary and Bright Spearmint are the perfect blend for a Winter Fresh air freshener!

You will LOVE the earthy Rosemary combined with bright, refreshing Spearmint ... it is reminiscent of pine trees which makes it absolutely perfect for Winter!  These air fresheners are gel so they won't spill in your car or make a mess on your desk at work!  My favorite part is that there are no chemicals - just 100% pure essential oils.

Head over for the instructions on how to make the DIY mason jar air fresheners!

I made these gorgeously giftable with just a few additions to these chubby little wide-mouth half-pint mason jars.  First, cut a square of tulle.  If you are using your Winter Fresh air fresheners right away, remove the jar lid, place the tulle square and screw on the jar ring.  If you want to gift these, replace the jar lid then add the tulle and screw on the jar ring.  Next, I cut two holly leaves out of mossy green felt for each jar.  Then, I punched a small hole in each leaf with my Crop-A-Dile.  I used some cream colored twine to thread a red jingle bell and two leaves onto the twine and then just tied a simple bow.  I really can't get enough of them - they turned out SO cute!!

Too cute! I have the Christmas Spirit oil that I've been diffusing, but I'm going to try it in your air freshener next. Great idea!

With great enthusiasm I embarked on this project. I used your Watesorb crystals and essential oils but mine do not give off the aroma in the room. Any suggestions?

Hi Susan - They do work best in small spaces (car, closet, at your desk) because the oils are not being diffused or dispersed into the air. If they start to dry out, I find that refreshing them with a bit of warm water and a few more drops of oil will plump the crystals again and refresh the scent. Hope that helps!

Wonder what the pretty contents (crystal-looking things) are in the jars. Also where can we buy them? Oh I almost forgot ... how many drops should we use of each essential oil? These are super cute - thanks for sharing.

If I needed enough materials to make 20 jars, how much watersorb would I need to buy?

I saw that you did a 50/50 with the orange and cinnamon oils but can't find what mix you did for the Winter Fresh oils. Help, please?

Hi Sue - I used 10 drops of orange and 10 drops of cinnamon, but you can certainly adjust that to your preference. Thanks so much for stopping by!
