POKE CAKE

Soft lemon cake is soaked with lemon Jello, chilled then topped with the most gloriously fluffy lemon frosting.

9x13 lemon cake (baked & cooled) 3 oz box of lemon Jell-O 8 oz whipped topping 3.4 oz box instant lemon pudding 1.5 cups cold milk Lemon slices & sprinkles for garnish

INGREDIENTS

Bake the lemon cake according to package instructions

Use a chopstick, skewer, or wooden spoon handle to poke holes throughout.

POUR

Mix 1.5 cups boiling water, 0.5 cups cold water, and jello mix and pour over the cake, filling the holes

CHILL AT LEAST 3 HOURS

TOP IT OFF

Mix milk and pudding mix, then fold in whipped topping. top poke cake with mixture and garnish if desired.
