As Halloween is creeping closer and closer, I am still looking for ways to add a little spooky to everyday life around our house. So, how about a fun way to drink orange-tinted milk through for breakfast on Halloween? spooky spider straws, of course!!
This project is quick and inexpensive but makes a seriously spider statement!
You can make a ton of these spooky spider straws for just a couple of bucks, so they are perfect to spook up a Halloween party!! I picked up a pack of sparkly spider confetti at Walmart for a song (well, close … only $1.27) and attached them with glue dots to some bendy straws.
|Seriously ya’ll, those striped paper straws are so cute, but they get soggy in liquids, so we’re going “real life” and using plastic bendy straws, k?|
Fill mason jars or upcycled Starbucks bottles with grape and orange soda or even purple and orange Gatorade and serve up sparkly spider sippers!!
Float a gummy eyeball in each sipper for a spine-tingling surprise and serve these alongside spider eggs (re-labeled boxes of Nerds) and spider webs (cotton candy) for a creepy Halloween treat!!
