This Spiced Apple Tea is the perfect warm Fall drink to enjoy when the weather turns cooler! Grab your favorite spiced tea bag and head over for the recipe!
When I was in middle school and high school, my mom and I used to start every day in our kitchen with a mug of hot tea swirled with milk and sugar. It was a tradition I carried on even when I moved out into my first apartment. Last year, I was hooked on hot chocolate floats and caramel apple cider floats. But I think I have found my absolute favorite warm Fall drink! Meet spiced hot apple tea!
Bigelow Constant Comment is my favorite spiced tea – I love the cinnamon and hint of orange. You can use whatever spiced tea that you think will complement the apple juice. Anything with cinnamon would be pretty fantastic, I’m sure. Now, there really isn’t much of a “recipe”, but I am a creature of habit.
This warm Fall drink is a wonderful way to warm up after a long, cold day. And since my boys have been hit with the “back to school cold”, this spiced hot apple tea is great for soothing throats and calming coughs.
The honey is completely optional since the apple juice is naturally sweetened, but honey works wonders for coughs and colds. And I always look for a chance to use those cute little honey straws that I picked up at our local farmers’ market.
How about a few of my favorite sweets that would be perfect to serve along with your spiced hot apple tea?Print
