This bright and tangy homemade orange cranberry sauce will be a new holiday favorite!

  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teas ground cinnamon
  • 12 oz. package fresh cranberries

  1. In a medium sauce pan, bring water, juice, cinnamon and sugars to a boil.
  2. Add fresh cranberries.
  3. Allow mixture to continue to gently boil as the cranberries begin to burst and cook down. (Use a lid or screen as berries burst to avoid being splattered by hot mixture.)
  4. Once most berries have burst and the sauce begins to thicken (about 10 minutes), remove from heat and allow to cool at room temperature.
  5. Chill in refrigerator.
