You picked the perfect day to stop by!! I am joining some of my blog BFFs to throw a surprise virtual baby shower for 4 of our favorite blogger mommies to be who are all welcoming beautiful babies into their families in the next few months! And since we live in nearly every corner of the continent, we decided to celebrate them with big ol’ DIY online baby shower! {SURPRISE GIRLS!!!} Here are the lovely and wonderful guests of honor:
Love, love, love these ladies!!!

Welcome to their gorgeous DIY Surprise Baby Shower!!
Today, there are lots of stops along the way as we host this baby shower! Each blogger is sharing their awesome DIY contribution for this beautiful baby bash and there are tutorials for each adorable project!! Now, let the good times roll as we celebrate all things baby!!
Just look at all that cuteness!! My contribution to our shower are these easy baby shower favor boxes!! They are a “sweet” way to say thank you to our guests and are perfect to fill with candy, cookies or other to-go goodies!
These baby shower favor boxes start with basic supplies that I picked up at my local craft store (with a coupon!). I also used alphabet stamps, ink and mini clothespins.
I cut 2 pieces of coordinating scrapbook paper to fit the four sides of the favor boxes. This is an easy way to create colorful favor boxes that match almost any party or shower theme! I used scrapbook adhesive to stick the paper to the sides of the boxes. Then, I used my alphabet stamps and a bright teal blue ink pad to add a “sweet” saying to the scalloped circle tags that I punched with a craft punch. I also added some ink along the edges of the scalloped punch to add a little definition to the fun shape.
I tied the striped bakers twine (found at Target for $1 in their gift wrap section) around the boxes. Finally, I clipped the “sweet baby” scalloped tags to the twine with an itty bitty clothespin and the easy baby shower favor boxes were ready to fill!
And now, take a look at the other amazing DIY baby shower ideas … printable invitations, a vintage drink station, DIY artwork, a memory box, a diaper cake and more!!

I love it when I get edible favors at baby showers! Yummy to eat and I don’t have to worry about a little tchotchke collecting dust. (totally had to look up the spelling on that one!)
