    Caramel Apple Munch Mix

Welcome to APPLE WEEK!!!  I am joining a group of seriously amazing bloggers to bring you all sorts of applicious goodness ... all week long!!  And there is an amazing giveaway sponsored by Crunch Pak so don't miss it ... head over to visit Jocelyn or Aimee to enter!  So, let's take a quick look at the Delicious Dozen ... or the who's who of Apple Week!!

Keri at Shaken Together (me!!) :: Aimee at Shugary Sweets
Jocelyn at Inside BruCrew Life :: Sally at Sally's Baking Addiction
The 4 Sisters at Crumbs and Chaos :: Joan at Chocolate, Chocolate and More
Carrie at Bakeaholic Mama :: Averie at Averie Cooks
Crystal at A Pumpkin and a Princess :: Cassie at Bake Your Day
Ali at Jam Hands :: The 6 Sisters at Six Sisters' Stuff

Don't miss these fabulous all things apple pin boards:  apple a day & Applicious Goodies!

Let's start this apple-a-day week off with a recipe!!  Munch mixes are some of my favorite tasty treats to put together ... brain storming all sorts of yummy things to pick and choose and combine for the perfect bites!  Plus, there is no oven to heat up and the kids can help, too!

Now, let's mix it up and {taste this} ... caramel apple munch mix

    In a large bowl, combine:

    2 cups apple cinnamon Chex
2 cups caramel Bugles (holy smokes are these GOOD!!)
    1 cup Kraft caramel bits
    1 cup honey roasted peanuts
One 2.5 oz bag of apple chips, original flavor

    Stir together and munch away!!

This is all sorts of caramel-y apple-y delicious!!  The Bugles and honey roasted peanuts add a smidge of salt, the apple chips and Chex are a sweet crunch and those little caramel bits just melt in your mouth!  Store leftovers in an air tight container.

This would be perfect to make for a Fall festival, an afternoon hayride, an apple themed party, an apple unit for home school or pre-school, something to munch with a mug of apple cider or just because it's finally feeling a bit like Fall!!

An apple a day ... makes awesome desserts!  Here are a few more of my favorites!

    Apple Pie Snickerdoodle Cookie Bars

This project or recipe was shared at the blogs on my Link page!

What a perfect Fall treat! My weekly linky party--One Creative Weekend--has gone spooky this week in honor of my thirteenth party. If you haven’t already, I hope you’ll visit "One Creative Weekend" on OneCreativeMommy.com (open every Fri-Wed) and link up this idea and anything else you’d like to share. (You can include non-Halloween posts as well, but feel free to link up as many Halloween-themed posts as you like.) There are two categories—one for Halloween and one for everything else.
