Asian Turkey Lettuce Wraps start with crisp romaine lettuce leaves, filled with seasoned ground turkey & topped with a crunchy flavorful sesame ginger slaw!

Ingredients

Lettuce Wraps

  • Romaine lettuce leaves
  • Asian Turkey (see below)
  • Sesame Ginger Slaw (see below)
  • Crispy rice noodles

Asian Ground Turkey

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 12 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce

Sesame Ginger Slaw

  • One 16 oz. bag of coleslaw mix
  • 1/3 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 cup ginger salad dressing
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

Asian Ground Turkey

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground turkey with the ginger, garlic powder and onion powder.
  2. When the turkey is cooked through and no pink remains in the meat, add the low sodium soy sauce and simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat.

Sesame Ginger Slaw

  1. In a bowl, stir together the coleslaw mix and cilantro.
  2. Pour dressing over slaw and stir to coat.
  3. Mix in sesame seeds.
  4. Refrigerate until you are ready to assemble the wraps.

To Assemble the Wraps:

  1. Spread about 1/3 cup ground turkey mixture in the middle of a romaine lettuce leaf.
  2. Top turkey with 1/4 – 1/3 cup of the Sesame Ginger Slaw.
  3. Sprinkle with crispy rice noodles and enjoy!
