Once I filled my mason jars – I found these in the Dollar Spot at Target (2 for $3) – I added a simple stamped tag tied on with red/white bakers’ twine and then tied on a few red jingle bells with green/white bakers twine. Super simple packaging, but I think it looks SO cute! Here is a close up – fun, right?!
Just add the mixing directions on the back of the tag so your recipient know how to enjoy their French Vanilla Hot Cocoa Mix! You could add a second jar filled with marshmallows, candy canes, chocolate chips, etc. – you know, the good stuff – to a basket with some cute holiday mugs for a sweet hostess gift.
Now, hold on to your hats and glasses, ’cause this here’s one of the most awesome round of up handmade gifts for the holidays!! {And stick around to the end for the GIVEAWAY!!}
This looks amazing and just what I need for a relaxing long weekend! Thanks for the recipe!
Great idea! I need gift ideas that I can make this week to give to out of town family that will last until Xmas so this is perfect-thank you!
Your packaging is adorable! I love the tag.
What a great christmas gift round up and recipe!!! xoxo
Mmmmmm, this looks divine! I love hot chocolate and can’t wait to give this recipe a try! Thank you for sharing! PINNED!
Thanks for linking these to our Best of the Weekend party – I’ll be featuring these tomorrow night
This is really good! I tripled the recipe and got 2 gallon jars worth.
How many mason jars does this recipe fill?
Hi Sierra – this recipe makes about 5 – 5 1/2 cups of mix so it will depend on the size of your mason jars. Hope that helps and thanks so much for stopping by Shaken Together!
I’m making these for Christmas this year. I’ll look for the tags at our Dollar general. I am adding something though I am attaching 2 small bottles of Baileys Irish cream to each pint size jar. This is a really great recipe. Thamks🎄🎄
