Valentine Party Pouches & Eat Your Heart Out Printables

Do you see the “Eat Drink & Be Merry” party pouches I posted on Christmas Eve?  They were one of my favorite super easy projects of the season, so I decided that I needed to put together party pouches for Valentine’s Day, too!  Now, you may be wondering …

What is a party pouch?

Well, it is a paper bag that holds a napkin, straw and silverware – everything your guests might need to chow down at a party or potluck! Neatly contained, easy to hold … no more dropped silverware or missing napkin!

For the Valentine party pouch, I just had to incorporate a cute cheesy saying and my favorite color {red!} …

I love, love, LOVE the striped bag, the paper straw with the washi tape flag and of course, the “punny” Eat Your Heart Out tag!  Here is a peek inside each bag:

Supplies and Sources:

  • Paper Bags – I grabbed these red striped bags from Pick Your Plum
  • Napkin – I used pink gingham and folded it to fit inside the bag
  • Plastic Silverware – this sturdy red silverware is from Target
  • Paper Straw – I think I snagged these at the Dollar Spot in Target
  • Washi Tape – This is totally optional, but I used pink polka dotted washi tape to make the cute little flag on the paper straw
  • Eat Your Heart Out Tags – FREE Download below!!

Yep, that’s right!  I am sharing the Eat Your Heart Out Tags so you can make your own party pouches!  You can also print and tie them on any edible Valentine treat or tuck one inside a lunchbox on Valentine’s Day!

Once you have assembled your party pouches, tuck them in a basket or bucket at the end of your buffet lines so guests can grab them on their way to their seats to eat!  I used a berry basket and added a length of red felt ribbon … SO cute! Party Pouches - SO smart for parties and buffets!
