{love this} Our 2012 family photos and our "real" names!!

Can I be honest with you?  It always makes me nervous to post our family pictures.  I feel like I’m throwing it all out there … my flyaways, that I’m not as thin as I’d like to be, that maybe my smile is crooked, can you see my gray hairs? … all those middle school insecurities come right to the surface.  But you know what?

These are some of my favorite pictures ever.  Maybe it’s because I have a little red flower pin and it makes me happy and I was having a decent hair day.  Maybe it’s the setting … a cool old train station, a closed grape soda factory, railroad tracks, the river front.  Maybe it’s just the people I was with … they are some of my very favorites ;)  These pictures just really make me happy!  I really do {love this}!

OH!  And my sister-in-law started a photography business in the Florida panhandle … Keeping the Moment!  So if you are in her neck of the woods, give her a call.  Here is her website and Facebook page.  She took these pictures.  She’s awesome!

Taken on the steps of the Imogene Theater
The photos with the train cars were taken at the West Florida Railroad Museum
I couldn’t find the name of this building or the grape soda factory/bottling facility, but holy cow do I LOVE those doors!

So, there you have it … our 2012 family pictures!  And since we’re laying it all out there, I figured it was time that we formally introduce ourselves.  You already know me … I’m Keri.  And now that “The Bugs” are getting older, we talked about it and decided that they didn’t mind if you know their “real” names.  Which are pretty cool, if I do say so myself ;)  So without further ado, the loves of my life!!

The Bigger Bug
Our first born, poor thing we made all of our parenting mistakes with, brown haired/brown eyes boy (just like his momma!), dimpled chin, left handed, slightly sarcastic (cough, no idea where he got that from), athletic, recently enamored of girls and texting (goodness the texting!).  We heard his first name as the last name of the family on the show, 7th Heaven.  We thought it was cool, but not too hard to spell or pronounce and not a super trendy name.  Meet Camden.

The Little Bug
Not so little anymore, blondish hair and green eyes (blonde runs in The Saint’s family and he has green eyes just like him, too), freckles freckles freckles (one of my most favorite parts of him!), smart (oh so smart! Gifted in fact), amazing memory, sweet sensitive heart … Since Camden had the same first initial as The Saint, we wanted to give our second born a name with the initial K … and it was a little tougher to find a “cool” K name that we could live with.  But we did.  Meet Kaleb.

The Saint
His name is Chris.  He is the love of my life.  A life that has been so hard earned, hard fought and hard WON.  Really, I don’t know how he puts up with me … “The Saint” was not an accidental nickname, people.  While I may seem sweet and funny here (right?? ha ha!), which of course I think I am most of the time, I also lean towards impatient and a little bossy (work in progress!) and he loves every used-to-be-thinner inch of me.  This is real life here, folks.

Which means we are Chris, Keri, Camden & Kaleb … our very own family tongue twister!!  I do love signing Christmas cards!

We just had our pictures made for the first time in our 23 year marriage and I haven’t really posted them for some of the same reasons you were concerned about.
