free printable thankful calling cards

I originally shared this post over at Craftionary (Thanks for having me, Hani!) and I wanted to post them here just in time for Thanksgiving!!

I don’t know about you, but there is just something about this time of year that warms my heart!  Whether you spend time helping others, volunteering or donating to charities, spending quality time with family, enjoying good food and a few extra days off … I think we can all agree that there really is a lot to be thankful for!

And while our family will do random acts of Christmas kindness a little later this year (you can see & read about last year’s acts here), I wanted to start out a bit earlier this year.  And decided to create …  {printable thankful calling cards}!!

These FREE printable thankful calling cards are the size of business cards and they are easy to keep in your purse or wallet for that moment when you want to surprise some one with a little extra note!  I love the autumnal colors and chevron accents … don’t you?!

Grab the free printable here and print on card stock – I used white, cream and kraft colored – or on Avery 5371 business card paper.  (If you are printing on regular paper, you might want to adjust your printer settings to print with a bit less ink.)  Trim the cards apart, ink the edges and embellish with ribbons, stickers or even washi tape!

Then, look for ways to brighten someone else’s day!!  Tuck one under your plate at dinner to tell your server you really appreciated the job she did!   Leave one in your mail box for your mail carrier!  Stash one on the shelf at the grocery store for the stocker to find.  Include a thankful calling card in the envelope while paying a bill (if it’s allowed), especially if it is a local vendor!

You could even use these same cards to share what you are thankful for this year at Thanksgiving dinner!  Have every guest or family member complete one and read aloud while the turkey is cooking!

Here are a few more last minute Thanksgiving projects and snacks …

This project or recipe was shared at all the blogs on my Link Party Love page! Go take a peek … they rock!
