jack-o-lantern treat cups using alphabet stickers

The Dollar Spot at Target is sooooo dangerous for me … you, too?  I can do some serious impulse shopping in that place!  But, it can be a great place to pick up inexpensive items for seasonal parties, party favors and just plain fun stuff!  Like the orange treat cups and letter stickers that I snagged on my last go around!  I used them to make the sweetest little craft:  jack-o-lantern treat cups using alphabet stickers!!

The little orange cups were just sitting on my craft table and begging to be jack-o-lanterns and in my head I could see them with tasty treats tucked inside … but what could I make the faces with?  Tough to stamp on the curved surface, Sharpies are a little too easy … oh yeah!  Letter stickers!!  And these sweetly punctuated, upper and lowercase jack-o-lantern treat cups came to be :)

No real instructions here … just peel and stick!  And get creative!

Top: capital O, lowercase i (bridge of glasses), capital C & the insides of an 8
Middle Left: insides of lowercase o, capital J/ Middle Right:  lowercase o, lowercase p, commas
Bottom Left: lowercase c, capital W / Bottom Middle: lowercase v and w /
Bottom Right: lowercase x and capital O
Tuck a little bag of candy inside, use green washi tape or ribbon for the “leaf” and spread a little jack-o-lantern love!

I think these are so stinkin’ cute … my favorite is the girl jack-o-lantern with eyelashes and the mustached man above!!  The Halloween fairy just might leave these for a few lucky co-workers ;)

How about a few more Halloween projects that you can whip up lickety split?!
Put together a fun trick-or-treat treasure hunt!

This project or recipe was shared at the blogs on my Link page!
