back to school: project rewind

So, after seeing all of the unbelievably adorable printable back to school gift tags, first day of school lunch box notes, days of the week outfit tags,  and back to school teacher gifts I have come to realize that this blog is sadly lacking in cutesy back to school projects and recipes!

Why is that?!  Well, for starters, I started blogging when my boys were older and way past the "cute" stage ... SIGH.  I can squeeze in some sweet teacher gifts for the Little Bug's teachers but the Big Bug is not having ANY of that!

But as I am looking back, I do have a few darn cute school related projects that most of you probably haven't seen!!  There weren't many of you around back then ;)

Like these easy back to school back pack tags made with baseball card protectors, embellishments and simple key rings ... perfect for backpacks and forgetful kids!

And before your kiddo forgets all the fun stuff about last year (or if you were forward thinking enough to do one of those mini interviews to document all their school time favorites), use upcycled chipboard restaurant coasters and your paper crafting stash to make a cute school daze mini book!

Most recently, I shared a fun fruit-filled end of year teacher gift and this "awesome to the core" gift, so I think I'm on the right track!

I mean, for a girl who seriously LOVES office and school supplies, I am going to have to remedy this situation ... in fact, I just might start making stuff for other kids to give their teachers, ha ha!
Whether you're back to school already or counting down the days like me, hope this school year is amazing!!

  1. Keri, I love these ideas! The mini book is so cute and could be a really great gift for the kids to give grandparents too. Thank you!
