{taste this} limeade sherbet fizz

Summer is the perfect time to cool off with something sweet and cool in the shade!  So, I have a few fun, simple summertime drinks (no blender required!) to share with you to beat the heat!  This {taste this} concoction combines tart citrus soda with cool, creamy sherbet … behold, the limeade sherbet fizz!!

Fill a glass 2/3 full of cold sparkling limeade (we found ours at Walmart), lemon lime soda or even citrus flavored seltzer water.  Add several scoops of rainbow citrus sherbet (lime, orange and pineapple!) and a straw and sip your way to fizzy bliss!!  Don’tcha just love that creamy sherbet foam on top … definitely a mustache makin’ drink if you sip without a straw :)

Since we have been wearing bathing suits an awful lot at our house, the sparkling limeade was calorie free and the sherbet was fat free … but don’t let that fool you … these packed a cool citrus punch and no one missed those extra calories!
