I think these are just so flippin' cute!! I love cupcake picks but most of the commercial picks (and even the DIY ones I've made in the past) are pretty big and would totally overshadow bite size mini cupcakes or appetizers! And that just won't do!
So, let's hop to it, {create this} and make these itty bitty bunny picks for your best pint-sized bites! You'll need white card stock, a flower punch (sold in most major craft stores), flat toothpicks, glue/adhesive and bakers twine/embroidery thread.
- Punch flowers from white card stock.
- Trim away the two middle petals to form the bunny cheeks.
- Glue a flat toothpick to the center and fold the two bottom petals in around it. I used a mini clothespin to hold everything together while it dried.
- Add a little Spring colored twine/thread and these picks are done!
It was so great to just mess around in my craft room, stopping and starting projects until that "A-ha!" moment happens :) Messy craft table = happy, happy girl!! I hope you were inspired to {create this}! If you like what you see (and I sure hope you do!) there are lots of ways to follow along - check out my sidebar!
I have a fun giveaway going on if you are in the Central FL area ... a $20 gift card to Sassafras Sweet Shoppe!! And if you have made something a-maz-ing, please come on over to my {what's shakin' link party}!!
We'll, we are heading out to the beach to soak up the sun, celebrate a newly cast-free Saint and enjoy the last few days of Spring Break ... hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
